Can you play my favorite song(s)?

Yes! We can play almost any requests you have, whether they are already on our repertoire lists or not. If an arrangement for your chosen song is not already available, we can make custom arrangements (1 custom arrangement is included in the ensemble price; additional arrangements are available for an additional fee).

Do you play at venues outside of Richmond, VA?

Yes! Locations more than 30 minutes outside of Richmond, VA are subject to mileage fees (following the yearly IRS guidelines) per player.

Can you play at my outdoor event?

Yes! Because string instruments are delicate and are valuable professional tools, we do charge a $50 fee per player for outdoor events. Reliable protection from precipitation and direct sunlight are required, as these conditions can permanently damage our instruments and prevent us from performing. Temperatures below 60 degrees and above 90 degrees are also dangerous for our instruments (and uncomfortable for your guests!) and will prevent us from performing.

What size ensemble should I choose?

First, think about the size of your venue and the number of guests in attendance, and then consider whether you want a fuller, more complex musical setting or a stripped-down, intimate sound. Larger venues will certainly require more musicians to fill the sonic space, but a full string quartet can be appropriate for even small events!

I want (piano, guitar, harp, another instrument) at my event! Is this possible?

Absolutely! We coordinate with instrumentalists on a variety of instruments to provide the musical setting of your choice. Transportation of larger instruments will be figured into the price per player on these instruments, which may vary from our typical $300 for the first player and $200 per additional player.
